Lee N Mockrud, July 5, 2005 Lee N Mockrud, age 89., died July 5, 2005. He was the beloved husband of the late Lois (nee Giroux) Mockrud. Loving father of Linda (Marc) Cooper of Palo Alto, CA and Jill (Chuck) Brodbeck of Pittsburgh, PA. Loving grandfather of Kate, Claire and Chase Cooper; Scott, Christy and Carolyn Brodbeck. Brother of Donald Mockrud of Madison. Brother-in-law of Mary Mockrud and Carmen Mockrud. Preceded in death by 4 brothers Stanley, Arthur, Paul, Harry and 1 sister, Alice. Further survived by his special nieces, nephews, cousins, the entire Grove family and all the loving families on Pasadena Blvd. He was a 1933 Westby High School graduate where he participated in all sports and was class president. A 1939 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Civil Engineering, Lee proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He opened and managed the first Milwaukee office for Ritter Engineering Company (now Ritter Technology) where he was vice president for 25 years. An avid member of the George Hansen Mens Golf Association, the Wauwatosa Mens Club, and member of the SyversonFunk American Legion Post #155. Lee was a major Packer and Badger fan and volunteered many years at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
