Lester Frank Copus, age 58 of Bangor and formerly Gays Mills, died Thursday October 3, 2019. Frank was born in Wisconsin on March 17, 1961 to Beuford and Verna Marie (Rockwell) Copus. He attended school at Broadhead and Seneca. He drove trucks over the road and stopped to return to Gays Mills and took care of his Dad. Frank loved his time spent with his family, son and grandson. He was a good man, he was good natured and honest. He loved to hunt, work on motors and small engines, and was a gun enthusiast. He loved farming, being a farm foreman and mechanic where he could work not at farming as much as on the farm, keeping everything operating and running. And Frank loved to cook. Frank is survived by, his son Alton Fredrick Copus and his grandson Jayden Fredrick Copus. He is further survived by; his siblings, Janet Vyborn, Garry (Teddy) Copus, Nancy Welch, James (Betty) Copus, Sarah Field, Kenneth Copus, Daryl Copus, David Copus, Wellington George Copus, and Ruby Tshirley, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives. Lester was preceded in death by; his parents, his brothers Wilfred Butch Copus and Duane Bruce Jones and sister Linda Jones. Private services for Frank have been rendered to his family.
