Logan A. Maybee

Logan A. Maybee, age 94, of Adams, WI passed away on the 30th of September 2022, with some of his loving family by his side. He was born on August 7, 1928, to the late Frank and Marie (Copus) Maybee in Soldiers Grove. Logan graduated from high school in Soldiers Grove and enlisted into the Army to serve in World War II. After serving, he married Barbara Kenner on October 15, 1948, and were married for 66 years until her passing in 2015.

During his life, Logan worked many jobs, but his proudest was being a Rural Postal Carrier for the Postal Service from 1962 until 1992, but was still involved with the union for a total of 60 years. After his retirement, he worked for Kmart and a few other small side jobs. Logan was an Amateur Radio Operator KB9VYZ and was involved with the Adams County ARES/RACES. He was also a member of the Soldiers Grove American Legion Post 220 and Rome American Legion Post 65.

Logan is survived by his brother, Billy (Jane); his sister, Coleen (Richard) Peterson; his children: Susann (Cesar) Ramirez, Kathleen Maybee, Connie (Doug) Bagshaw, Dawn Edwards, and John (Rosie) Maybee; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; his parents; and brother, Garrel (Alma).

Logan's family would like to give a thanks to the nurses and doctors at Gundersen Medical Center and nurses at Compassus Home Healthcare.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church, 43983 County Rd X, Soldiers Grove. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Logan will be laid to rest at the Montgomeryville Cemetery with full military honors.
