Lois Louise Reed

Lois Louise Reed, age 93, of Chippewa Falls, WI and formerly of La Farge, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025. She was born on July 4, 1931, in Viroqua to the late Charles and Katherine (Weber) Erickson. She graduated from Viroqua High School.

She married Junior Reed of La Farge in 1951. She was most proud of raising her children. She worked outside of the home in addition to her work on the farm. Lois enjoyed spending time with her family and liked to hunt, tend her garden, being outdoors, holidays, and traveling.

Lois is survived by her children, Kathy Reed of Chippewa Falls and Jim (Angela) Reed of Readstown; her daughter-in-law, Johnnette Reed of Thorp; her grandchildren, Daniella (Heath) Edens, Amanda Reed, Charles Reed, and Spencer Reed; her great-grandchildren, Colton Reed, Elyse Noel, Natalie Mae, and Terra Seline; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior Reed; her son, John Reed; her siblings, Ernest (Doris) Erickson, Merle (Merlin) Martin, Lola (Carl) Lewis, and Rachel (Gordon) Bailey; and her sister-in-law, Garnet Green of La Farge.

A Funeral Service for Lois will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the La Farge United Methodist Church. Pastor Kim Brumm will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Lois will be laid to rest at the Bear Creek Cemetery. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
