Lori Ann Sidwell

Lori A. Sidwell, age 60, died unexpectedly on February 27th, 2022, at her home. She was born March 10th, 1961, in La Crosse, WI, the daughter of Leon Crum and Hazel Gouwens (Sandvick). Lori graduated from Brodhead High School, a member of the class of 1979. Following graduation, she married Gerald Lee Sidwell on September 10th, 1983, and they settled in Beloit, WI. Lori loved watching tv, especially the Packers and her soaps. She enjoyed fishing, reading, dancing, and puzzles. She was such a loving mother and devoted grandmother; her children and grandchildren were her life. Lori was also an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, and friend with a heart of gold. Lori was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Sidwell, and father, Leon Crum. She is survived by her mother, Hazel Gouwens of Stoddard; a daughter, Lesley Sidwell (Calvin Wheeler) of La Crosse; her sons: Steven Sidwell (Pamela Hill) of Janesville, Charles Sidwell, and Zackery Eddy; her grandchildren: Krista (and great-grandson Cain), Kal-el, KaeVon, Emelia, LeKya, Disaya, Zander, and DaeVyon. She is further survived by her brothers, Lee Crum and Leslie Crum, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and everyone else who called her Mom. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of the service.
