Lorraine M. Borgen March 6, 2005 Lorraine M. Borgen was born to Albert & Clara Haakenson. On March 2, 1948 she married Clinton Gronland and he died in 1952. She then married Joel Borgen in 1953 and he died in 1997. Lorraine founded Westby Realty and had also started several businesses including a drapery and upholstery shop. She was a member of WCP Luth. Church, WELCA and Eve circle. She was also a member of: Order of Eastern Star (Past Matron), Westby Legion Aux., Westby Historical Society, Westby Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, Westby Lions and Sons of Norway. Lorraine was an original and life member of the Westby Syttende Mai and was co-parade marshal in 2003. She was active in the Country Coon Prairie Preservation. She loved spending time with her family, traveling (especially her trips to Norway), stain glass art work, the outdoors and enjoyed meeting and helping people through her real estate business. She is survived by her 4 daughters: Ruth (Larry) Fladhammer, Coreene (Jack) Ruby, Diana (Harvey) Volden, and Rachel (Joe) Hanson; 13 grandchildren: Rita (Dan) Milbrandt, Amy Thompson (Fianc Mike), Kristi (Jeff) Creighton, Mark Fladhammer, Eric Fladhammer, Janna (Gene) Caron, Stephanie (Dennis) Elsen-Knudsen, Ryan (Lori) Elsen, Douglas (Angie) Seberg, Chad Seberg (friend Marcia), Robert Seberg (Fiance Jenni) Kyle (Stephanie) Hanson, and Katie Hanson (boyfriend Chris Helseth); 15 great-grandchildren: Kole, Alex, Taylor, Travis, Alyson, Cora, Rachel Lorraine, Hannah, Luke, Caden, Taylor, Alexandria, Emma Lorraine, Whitney and Blake; sisters-in-law, Leona Haakenson and Mae Haakenson; and many special nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond and Myron Haakenson; her sister, Evelyn Bakken; niece, Linda Groom; and great-niece, Melissa
