Lorraine M. Kloepfer

Lorraine M. Kloepfer, age 93, formerly of Monroe, Wisconsin, and Northbrook, Illinois, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, February 28, 2022. She was born on November 29, 1928, in Niles Center, Illinois to George and Elizabeth Heinz. At the age of 19, on Valentine’s Day of 1948, Lorriane met the love of her life, Richard Kloepfer. They married six months later on August 14, 1948. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage. She worked at various jobs throughout her life, but her greatest pride and joy was raising her children and grandchildren. Lorraine loved to dance while listening to Elvis and rock n roll music. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family, in particular lasagna and potato salad. Lorraine also enjoyed flowers and watching birds. Her life revolved around her family, and we will miss her dearly. Survivors include six children; 20 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard, and she was the last surviving child of her parent’s 14 children. Services will be held at a later date.
