Lorriane Hagen

Lorriane Hagen, age 94 of Westby, died Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Norseland Nursing Home. She was born on October 31, 1911 in the Township of Christiana to Magnus and Martha (Ballsrud) Hagen. Lorraine was a life-time member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby where she was baptized and confirmed. She graduated from Westby High School and worked on the family farm. Lorraine had a love of animals; especially dogs. She enjoyed working with the cattle and was a fan of John Deere tractors. At the age of 13, Lorraine participated in the ski tournament as a ski jumper. She is survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters: Mildred Kingslien, Irene Hagen, Velma Pederson and Ada Nell; and one brother, Ralph Hagen. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. Pastor Gary Daines will officiate with burial in the Our Saviors Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from noon until the service at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby.
