Louise Cook

Louise E. Cook, 79, of Castaic California died September 13, 2012. Louise Cook passed away at the age of 79, on September 13, 2012. She was born in Lacrosse, Wisconsin on October 16, 1932. Preceded in death by parents, Julius and Mildred Larson, and brother, Mike (Myron) Larson. She grew up in Wisconsin and spent much of her adult life in Richfield, Minnesota. She lived in Castaic, California over the last eight years. Louise worked as a hair stylist for several years, and later cared for many in a nursing home, where she worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Louise was a kind, loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters: Donna Stamper of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Julie Morello (Nicholas,) of Santa Barbara, California, grandchildren: Kimberly, Megan, Cameron, and Sadie, sister-in-law: Delores Larson, a niece and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012, at 11:00am at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, located at 708 S. Main Street (Hwy. 14,) Westby, Wisconsin 54667. Louise's cousin, Pastor Donald Johnson will officiate with burial in the North Coon Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday after 10:00am at the Vosseteig Funeral Home. Louise loved her family tremendously, and the memory of her will live on in our hearts. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
