Luann F. Zirzow

LuAnn F. Zirzow, age 56, of Viroqua, died Friday, April 1, 2005 LuAnn F. Zirzow, age 56 of Viroqua, died Friday, April 1, 2005 at Gundersen-Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse. She was born on July 6, 1948 in Minnesota to Hilbert and Luella (Balk) Schultz. She graduated from Cochrane-Fountain City High School in 1966 and went to work for Gate City Ins. in Winona. On September 11, 1971 LuAnn was united in marriage to David Zirzow in Alma, WI and they moved to Viroqua where she worked for NCR. David and LuAnn began the Cable TV business in the Viroqua area and LuAnn was the bookkeeper. They sold the business in 1987. For the last nine years, LuAnn has been employed by the Viroqua Schools as a secretary. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Viroqua. In addition to her husband, David, she is survived by one son, Christopher Zirzow of Onalaska; one daughter, Courtney (Scott) Willinger of Holmen; one granddaughter, Lauren Willinger; one sister, Carol Johnson of Waunakee; one nephew, Troy (Andrea) Johnson of Sun Prairie; one great-nephew, Lucas Johnson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
