Lyle Nottestad

Lyle Nottestad, 76, of Westby, died Friday, July 6, 2018. Lyle Jerome Nottestad, age 76, died on July 6th, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family. Lyle was born on March 27, 1942 to Lloyd and Alice (Johnson) Nottestad. Lyle married his high school sweetheart Mary on June 17th, 1961. They spent their married Life on the family farm. Lyle was a dairy farmer and milk hauler. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, riding motorcycles, and antique farm machinery. Lyle is survived by his son Todd and his wife Jenny (Mashak) Nottestad; three grandchildren: Austin, Chase, and Clay Nottestad; siblings: Ardys Bakkestuen and Sherman Nottestad; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary joined Lyle two days after his death, dying on Sunday, July 8, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his In-laws, Francis and Grace Moon. Funeral Services will be held at 12pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home (708 S Main/ US Hwy 14) in Westby. Pastor Gary Daines will officiate with burial to follow in the North Coon Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 10am till the time of service.
