Lynette "Tillie" Johnson

Lynette “Tillie” Johnson, age 70, of Westby passed away peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2022, at her home with her husband by her side. She was born on August 5, 1951, to the late Clifford and June (Hovde) Anderson at Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua. She graduated from Westby High School in 1968, she started working in Sparta in a factory until she moved to California. When Lynette moved to California, she started a job at Aerospace where she worked as a technical support for airplane intelligence. She worked in California until she retired to move back to Wisconsin. When Lynette moved back to Wisconsin, she worked at Trane in La Crosse, where she met the love of her life, Dick H. Johnson. Lynette and Dick married May 24, 2002, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby. She was known for her cooking and always having her coffee pot running; Lynette always had lunch ready if someone were to show up. Lynette enjoyed spending her time with Dick going to tractor shows. She was a deep woman of faith who was active in her church. Lynette was known for being such a kind woman, going out of her way to make sure others were taken care of. Lynette is survived by her husband of 19 ½ years, Dick Johnson; stepsons: Scott, Todd, Randy, Chad, and Nick Johnson; sisters: Roxie (Alan) Von Ruden, Brenda (Dan) Snodgrass, Christine (Russ) Aarness, and Dawn Anderson; several step-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is further survived by her fur children: Abby and Tucker. She was preceded in death by her parents; two former husbands; maternal and paternal grandparents; many aunts and uncles; and a nephew and niece.
