Lynn Gardner, 70, of Gays Mills, died Monday, September 28, 2015. Lynn Ernest Gardner, 70, of Gays Mills, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 peacefully in the comfort of his home with his family. Lynn was born on April 1, 1945 to Ernest and Ruth Gardner of Soldiers Grove. He was married on October 23, 1965 to Gwendolyn K. Whiteaker of Gays Mills. Lynn spent his life driving truck over the road. Known as "Kickapoo Joy Juice" (JJ). Lynn enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren. Lynn was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed collecting replica toy tractors. Lynn was a teacher, storyteller, Packer fan, and jokester. Lynn was a legend out on the big road. Always ready to give directions to help a person find their way. Lynn is loved by many. Lynn is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn K. Gardner of Gays Mills; children: Brian (Lynn), Joana, Aaron and Shannon Gardner of Lone Rock, Kimberly Kay, Ashley, Cody, and Jorden Gardner of Eastman and Gays Mills, Kathleen Ann, Ariel, Ashley and Andrea Fish Gardner of Berlin WI; his dog, Sparky; Siblings: Merill (Deanna) Gardner of Onalaska, Judy Nicholson of Soldiers Grove, and Dean Gardner of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, William Nicholson; and nephew, Davind Nicholson. Funeral Services will be held at 5:30 pm on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills. Pastor Lorie Betz will officiate. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2pm till the time of service at 5:30. A luncheon will follow at Lynns favorite bar, Halvers Town Tap.
