Lynne Teach, age 56 of Gays Mills, died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at her home. Lynne Ann Teach, 56, of Gays Mills, WI, passed away in the presence of family and friends on Tuesday, August 18 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lynne McDaniel was born in Viroqua, WI, on December 31st, 1958 to Gerald and Lucille (Phalin) McDaniel of Soldiers Grove, WI. Lynne was a proud graduate of Kickapoo High School and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where she earned a bachelors degree in elementary education. Lynne married Allen Teach on July 2nd, 1983 after meeting while racing snowmobiles. Allen and Lynne would go on to work together as business partners for over 30 years. Often referred to as an "Angel on Earth," Lynne believed in the genuine good in every person. Living by the mottos of community service and "Paying it Forward," Lynne served her community and family quietly and humbly never seeking recognition. Teaching at the Readstown Elementary School, serving for 16 years on the North Crawford School Board, various agricultural advisory boards, and numerous economic development boards, Lynne constantly put the needs of others before herself. As an owner of Sunrise Orchards, Lynne used her business and beloved cabin in Three Lakes Wisconsin as tools to turn others lives around, fundraise for any cause imaginable, or simply make this world a better place. Lynnes final contribution to this world was actively participating in clinical research, often commenting, "I will deal with this pain so that others will not have to in the future." Blessed is our memory of Lynne Teach. Lynne is survived by her loving husband, Allen; her son Ryan (Bethany) Teach of Gays Mills; one granddaughter Ellery; a grandson to be born in November and a cherished Golden Retriever Pearl. She is also survived by her parents, Gerald and Lucille of Soldiers Grove; her sister Bonnie (Richard) Rosemeyer of Soldiers Grove, their children Angie (Matt) Baranowski of Onalaska, WI, and April (Chad) Repinski of Jackson, WY. Additionally, Lynne is survived by a vast network of extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Otto and Elsie McDaniel and William and Freda Phalin. Rochester, MN 55905. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Viroqua Church of Christ, 825 Nelson Pkwy in Viroqua, WI. A visitation will be held on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, Hwy 131 and Sunset Ridge Ave. in Gays Mills, WI.
