Mabel Sherry, 89, of Viroqua, died Friday, September 25, 2015. Mabel Sherry, 89, of Viroqua, died Friday, September 25, 2015. Mabel Jean Sherry (Huffman) was born to Hazel Mabel Moore and Amos Huffman on August 8,1926. She married Arnie Sherry on March 29, 1944. They farmed all their married life. They retired in 1989 and built a new house where they lived. She was a member of Good Shepherd Church and Circle member. Mabel worked at the Vig Gulbrandsen Clinic for 14 years. She enjoyed square dancing and playing cards. Mabel is survived by three sons: Duane (Linda) Sherry of Viroqua, Wis., Rodney (Yvonne) Sherry of Deforest, Wis., and Anthony (Pat) Sherry of New Berlin, Wis.; four grandchildren: Jennifer Sherry, Tyler Sherry, Tabitha (Craig) Williams, and Eric Christianson; and three great-grandchildren: Dominic, Kindale, and Ashtin. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Arnie. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dr. Steve Fossum will officiate with burial to follow in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10am till the time of service at 11.
