Marcia Lynn Hagensick, 56, of Lynxville died Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her home. Marcia Lynn Hagensick, 56, of Lynxville, died Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Marcia was born in Madison on May 31, 1957 to William B. and Lucille (Helgerson) Turner. She grew up in Fairview and attended Seneca schools. She was later united in marriage to Paul Hagensick. Marcia dearly loved children and especially enjoyed taking them to the Falling Rock Walleye Club Kids Day every year. She was a very kind and gentle person who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband Paul; sons Anthony (Monica Knockel), Alan, Corey; grandchildren Robert, Karlee and Layla; brother Michael (Mona) Turner; sister-in-law Linda Turner; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Joseph; and sister Jeanette. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 23, at Mt. Sterling Lutheran Church. Pastor Nile Sandeen will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorial contributions may be made to the family. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Gays Mills is serving the family.
