VIOLA Jean Pellett, age 89, died on Saturday, March 31, 2018. VIOLA, Wis. Jean Pellett, 89, of rural Viola peacefully passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Bethel Home and Services in Viroqua, WI, with family by her side. She was born in Vernon County on August 25, 1928, the second child of Arnie and Ada (Privett) Clift. She married Myron Pellett on June 14, 1946. She was a proud member of the Viola Legion Auxiliary for 35 years. Myron and Jean were lifetime members of the Richland County Farm Bureau and enjoyed being involved in state and county activities. They also proudly attended all of their kids sporting events and activities. Jean enjoyed her wonderful collection of "Cow Keepsakes" given to her over the years by family and friends, watching and identifying birds that came to her bird feeders, attending her high school class reunions and car rides in the country. Jean is survived by one son, Ron (Sue) Pellett of New Berlin; three daughters, Marsha (John) Hagenah of Onalaska, Susie (Rod) Byers of Oregon WI, Ginny Drabek of Oregon WI; seven grandchildren, Jeff (Tammy) Pellett, Jill (Spencer) Breithaupt, Amanda (Jason) Yusten, Amber (Mark) Joswick, Tony (Janice) Byers, Carrie (Justin) Sieglaff, Lucas Drabek; fourteen great grandchildren, Daisy, Nicole Pellett, Brianna Dziewa, Spencer Jr., Skyler Breithaupt, Annabelle, Ethan, Owen, Emmitt Yusten, Lincoln, London Joswick, Grant Byers, Henry, Nora Sieglaff; special extended family Roger (Becky) Hooker and families; brother-in-law Del (Gloria) Pellett, sister-in-law Ronda (Martin) Fortun, sister-in-law Bonnie Clift; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister Mary Dalberg and brother-in-law Byron Dalberg; one brother Everette Clift; two nephews Dean, Earl Dalberg; and one grandson Mathew James Byers. A graveside memorial service for Jean will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Viola Cemetery, in Viola, WI. A Celebration of Jeans Life with family and friends will be held at the American Legion Building in Viola following the service. In lieu of flowers or plants memorials should be directed to the Kickapoo Rescue Squad or the Viola American Legion Hamilton Harris Post 447 Ladies Auxiliary.
