Margaret L. Springborn

Margaret L. Springborn, 55, of Victory died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 Margaret was born on November 4, 1958 in Richland Center to Eston and Mary Lou (Volden) Townsend. She was united in marriage to Allen Springborn on May 5, 1984 at DeSoto Lutheran Church. She worked at Northern Engraving for 26 years, at the Viroqua Wal-Mart as a greeter for a short time and was presently working at Walz Craft in La Crosse. In her spare time she enjoyed reading books, baking and decorating cakes and taking walks. Margaret loved going to the movies with her son Jason and trips to Disney Land having been to Disney Land five times. She had a strong love for cats, both indoor and outdoor cats; She will be missed by her indoor cats, Stormy, Zena, Buffy, Poe, Julius and Abby. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jason Springborn; mother, Mary Lou Townsend; sister, Cheryl (Gary) Pinkham; brother, Eston Townsend, Jr.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marge Geddes, Joyce (Harry) Sutton, Marv (Alice) Springborn, Eloda (Miles) Bohland, Harlan Springborn, Roger (Valerie) Springborn, Loren (Marlene) Springborn; She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Eston Townsend; her mother-in-law and father-in-law; son, Zachary Springborn; and daughter, Shannon Rae Springborn. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 12 Noon at the New Hope Methodist Church in Red Mound, with Pastor Judie Jacobson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 am until the time of the service at the church. The Vosseteig Larson Funeral Home of DeSoto is serving the family.
