Margaret Wallin

Margaret Wallin, 86, of Viroqua, died on Monday, February 22, 2016. Margaret F. Wallin,86, died peacefully at Vernon Manor on February 22, 2016 after a lengthy illness. She was born on May 25, 1929 in Crawford County to Herman and Cora Lenzendorf. She was married to Frederick R. Wallin on November 24, 1948. They farmed in the Seneca area for several years before moving to Middleton. Fred and Margaret lived in the Middleton area for many years then moved to the Spring Green area in retirement until Freds death in 2003. Margaret is survived by one son, Richard (Trudy) of Viroqua; three daughters: Charlotte Wallin of Sun Prairie, Gayle (Richard) Schwartz of Middleton, and Julia (Bruce) Levers of Monona. She had 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Margaret is further survived by two daughter-in-laws: Kristi Wallin of Belleville, and Charleen Olsen-Wallin of Black Earth; two brothers Ivan and Fay Lenzendorf of Boscobel; and a sister Loretta Shipley of Texas. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Fred, and two sons: David and Douglas. Private family services were held.
