Marilyn E. Thompson, age 62 of Madison, died Friday, June 1, 2007. Marilyn E. Thompson, age 62 of Madison, died Friday, June 1, 2007 at her home. She was born on August 26, 1944 to Gerald and Agnes Thompson. Marilyn is survived by her son, Matt (Amy) Thompson of Arbor Vitae, WI; two grandchildren; her mother and step-father, Agnes (Martin) Morkrid of Viroqua; two sisters: Linda (Dennis Davidson of Madison and Gerri Steely of Round Rock, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Thompson and one sister, Ida Hilgendorf. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker (Hwy 56) in Viroqua. Pastor Ethan Larson will officiate with burial in the Viroqua Cemetery.
