Marilyn Solberg

Marilyn Solberg, age 78, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at her home. She was born on March 26, 1943, in Avalanche, WI, the daughter of Hjalmer and Hilda (Tomtengen) Jacobson. Marilyn married Raymond Solberg on May 17, 1969, in Westby, WI. Marilyn was employed by Beloit Corporation for over 36 years; after retiring she worked for Gem and Trinity Ridge Printing. She was a current member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Beloit. Survivors include her husband, Raymond; several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly; and close friends, DJ and Tony. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and 12 siblings. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the Dale Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home & Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road in Beloit. Additional visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Friday, December 31, at Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Main St., Westby, WI 54667. The funeral service will follow at Noon with Pastor Meg Hoverseten officiating. Burial will be in Coon Prairie Cemetery. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
