Marion Campbell, age 85 of Viroqua, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Marion L. Campbell, age 85 of Viroqua, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Vernon Manor Nursing Home. She was born on March 8, 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Paul and Fidela Griesbach. On January 15, 1949 she was united in marriage to Donald Campbell and together they began a billiard business. The couple worked long, hard hours. Marion loved flowers and enjoyed cooking. She is survived by two sons, David (Peggy) Campbell and Dennis Campbell; three grandchildren: Dan (Kate) Campbell, Cody Campbell, and April (Jason) Sullivan; two great-grandchildren: Kristyn Sullivan and Lucy Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie and her husband, Donald who died on December 12, 2009. Blessed be our memory of Marion L. Campbell. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the DeSoto Cemetery. Pastor Doug Andersen of the DeSoto Lutheran Church and Freeman Lutheran Church will officiate. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Homes of Viroqua and DeSoto are serving the family.
