Marjorie R. Knutson, age 89 of North Freedom, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Marjorie R. Knutson, age 89 of North Freedom formerly of the Ferryville area and Viroqua, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Marjorie was born August 22, 1921 in Crawford County to Robert and Stella (Enerson) Forde. She married Leland Knutson November 27, 1940. Marjorie (Marge) is survived by her son Gary (Patricia) Knutson of Marion, Texas, two daughters, Marilyn (Thomas) Larson of Venice, Florida, and Tammy Knutson of San Antonio, Texas, four grandsons, Jeffrey (Donna) Larson of Oregon, Wisconsin, Kevin Larson of Madison, Nicholas Askey of San Antonio and Michael (Ashley) Askey of North Freedom, five great grandchildren, Tina, Michelle, Erik, Brett, and Sophie, sister Betty (Warren) Swanson of Richfield, Minnesota, sister-in-law Mary Forde of Westby and brother-in-law Norman (Deloris) Knutson of Spencer, Wisconsin and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Leland, her parents, sister Beverly Forde and brothers Alvin, Reuben and Edmund Forde.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker St., (Hwy. 56) in Viroqua. Pastor Doug Andersen will officiate with burial in the Freeman Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
