Mark K. Anderson

Mark K. Anderson, born in northern Virginia to Kenneth E. and Elizabeth Anderson, passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, February 26, 2021. Among his endeavors over the years, he tried his hand at harness making, farming, woodworking, and small engine repair. In his retirement, he enjoyed biking, playing guitar with his friends at church, and working at the Viroqua Food Co-Op. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth (Faris) Anderson; his wife of 42 years, Carole (Fox) Anderson; sons and daughters: Christine Anderson, Adah (Mark) Rivera, Omar (Melinda) Anderson, Sam (Marissa) Anderson, Amanda (Mike) Leis, and Mark Anderson Jr.; his nine grandchildren: Elizabeth, Zachary, Taylor, Lily, Charavari, Liam, Matthew, Tirzah, and Sawyer will miss their fun and gentle grandpa. His two unborn granddaughters will never know what they missed. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth E. Anderson and his sons, Justus, Elon, and David. A public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. A private service and burial will follow.
