Marlene C. Rooney, age 41 of Westby and formerly of Viola, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at her home. Marlene Clara Rooney, age 41 of Westby and formerly of Viola, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at her home. She was born on June 10, 1973 in Viroqua to Henry and Mildred (Hardy) Olson. She grew up in Viola and attended Kickapoo Schools. In 1994 she married Bryan Rooney and they later divorced. She worked at Marys Quik Stop in Viroqua. She loved camping in her volkswagon "bus" and especially loved taking care of her grandson, Braxten. She is survived by her children: Liberty Olson, Holly Rooney, Jacob Rooney, Teagan Rooney; one grandson, Braxten and a grandchild that is due in February; parents: Henry and Mildred Olson; siblings: Marie Bender, Henry Olson Jr., Amy (Travis) Jerrett, Mark (Christina) Olson; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her loving dog, "Judge". Friends and relatives are invited for a visitation on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby.
