Baraboo/LaFarge Wi Marlin "Butch" Parr age 61 of Baraboo, died Monday, August 20, 2018. Marlin "Butch" Parr, age 61 of Baraboo, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 26, 1957 in Viroqua to Robert and Maureen (Muller) Parr. Butch spent much of his childhood with his uncle and aunt, Dexter and Pat Parr in Baraboo and continued to reside in Baraboo into adulthood. Butch was a carpenter and owned "Butch Parr Builders" as well as working for Chula Vista in Wisconsin Dells. He enjoyed snowmobiling and loved to hunt, having taken many trips out west. He is survived by his mother, Maureen Hysel of LaFarge; his siblings: Steve Parr and Tim Parr, both of LaFarge, Gina Torres of California and Karla Clark of Beloit; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Butch was preceded in death by his father, Robert Parr. Blessed be our memory of Marlin "Butch" Parr. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the LaFarge United Methodist Church. Pastor Eileen Kuehnl will officiate with burial in the Star Cemetery, rural LaFarge.
