Mary Nottestad

Mary Nottestad, 75, of Westby, died Sunday, July 8, 2018. Mary Frances Nottestad, age 75, died on July 8th, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family. Mary was born on September 29, 1942 to Francis and Grace (Hunter) Moon. Mary married her high school sweetheart Lyle on June 17th, 1961. They spent their married Life on the family farm. Mary was employed by Norseland Nursing Home for 42 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, riding motorcycles, gardening, drawing, and cooking. Mary is survived by her son Todd and his wife Jenny (Mashak) Nottestad; three grandchildren: Austin, Chase, and Clay Nottestad; siblings: Millie (Trygve) Thompson, David (Carole) Moon, Bonnie (Karl) Gilbertson, and Bette (Rockey) Akpan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle; her parents; and her In-laws, Lloyd and Alice Nottestad. Funeral Services will be held at 12pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home (708 S Main/ US Hwy 14) in Westby. Pastor Gary Daines will officiate with burial to follow in the North Coon Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 10am till the time of service.
