Mary A. Schiltz 83, of Kennesaw,Georgia. Formerly of Viroqua passed away March 2, 2012 in Marietta, GA. She was born July 23, 1928 in rural LaCrosse County WI. to Anton and Mary Schneuriger. On Sept. 3 1949 She married Raymond Schiltz at St. Joseph's Ridge Catholic Church. They were married for 54 years. Mary and her husband owned and operated Dairyland Press Printing Company in Viroqua for 32 years from 1960 -1992. During their ownership the Company grew from a very small shop in the Fortney Hotel building to a thriving business in the old Swenink tire shop on Main Street. After their retirement in 1992, the couple moved to Hereford, a small cattle community in Southern Arizona where they lived until 2003, and then resided in Kennesaw, GA. for almost 9 years. Mary made many friends wherever she lived and was very involved in Church work and a volunteer for St. Vincent's Thrift store. She was an active member at St. Catherines of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw GA.until the time of her illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one son, Samuel. She is survived by seven sons: Peter of Bellevue, NE; Andrew (Janice) of Jacksonville, FL. Steven (Beth )of Viroqua, Mark (Renee) of North Charleston, SC. Chris of Kennesaw, GA. Joel of Valdosta, GA. John (Sharon) of Oshkosh, WI. 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Viroqua. Father Frances will officiate with burial in Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 until the time of the service. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
