Mathew Buckta

Mathew Buckta, age 35, of La Farge, WI, died on Saturday, September 10, 2022, after a long battle with mental illness. He was born in Racine on April 17, 1987, to Brian and Pam (Nagy) Buckta. Mathew was an extremely caring and devoted man who always put his family and friends first. He never quit loving them. He loved all animals, in particular his dogs and cats. Music was a big part of his life and kept him grounded and spoke to him during various times in his life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Survivors include his parents, Brian and Pam Buckta; his siblings, Paul (Bobbie Shanahan) Buckta and Jeanne Buckta; his uncles, Christopher Nagy and Steven Nagy; his aunts, Karen Pakter, Laurie Dennis, Shelly Ingraham; lots of loving cousins; other relatives and friends.

Mathew was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents and his paternal uncle.

A private service will be held at Vosseteig Funeral Home in La Farge for Mathew’s immediate family. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
