Melissa Struxness, age 24, formerly of Viroqua, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 Melissa Struxness, age 24, formerly of Viroqua, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013. She was born to LeMont and Barbara (Deal) Struxness of Viroqua, WI on March 28th 1988. Melissa went to Viroqua Area Schools and graduated from Better Futures High School in Viroqua, WI. Melissa is survived by her son Cameron, and siblings: Dawn Struxness of LaCrosse, WI and Richard Struxness of St. Paul, MN. She also leaves her maternal grandfather, John W Deal, of Readstown, WI. Melissa is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Barbara and LeMont Struxness. Melissa was taken far too soon and will be forever missed! Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker Street (Hwy 56) in Viroqua. Pastor Pete Beckstrand will officiate with burial in the Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday after 10:00 a.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
