Meredith E. Vedvik

Meredith E. Vedvik, age 90, of Seneca passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at her home. She was born on February 28, 1933, to the late Richard and Dorothy (Adams) Homuth. On December 8, 1950, Meredith married Harold “Howdy” Vedvik at the Lutheran Parsonage in Mt. Sterling and together they had three children: Rick, Randy, and Teri.

She enjoyed being outside and gardening. Meredith cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Meredith is survived by her children; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Midge Schmidt; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howdy and her siblings, Donnie and Gloria.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Utica Lutheran Church or the Seneca Foundation in Meredith’s memory.

Per Meredith’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date with a private burial.
