Michael Hagen, 72, of Westby, died Monday, October 16, 2017. Michael Hagen, 72, of Westby, died Monday, October 16, 2017. Michael was born in Delphos, Ohio to Joseph and Jennie (Taft) Hagen. His family moved to the Viroqua area and he graduated from Viroqua High School. On August 12, 1972 he was united in marriage to Linda Leland. Michael started working at the foundry in Richland Center before he began his work as an auto body repairman. He then worked at the Viroqua Auto Body shop. After leaving Viroqua Auto Body he went to work for Dahl Ford, where he worked for 42 years. Michael loved to restore antique cars including a 1923 Model T. He enjoyed helping family and friends with their vehicles and watching Packer games. As he grew older his biggest joy was to watch his grandkids. Michael was always willing to help no matter how big or small the task. Michael is survived by his wife, Linda; three children: Patricia of Westby, John (Julie) of Coon Valley, and Robert (Katie) of Coon Valley; four grandchildren: Brett, Haley, Tyler, and Hannah; two sisters: Phyllis (Gene) Oium of La Farge, and Caryl (Jerry) Dunn of Cashton; five brothers: Donald (Phyllis) Hagen of Woodbury, Louis (Shelby) Hagen of Westby, Larry Hagen of Viroqua, Bryant Hagen of Prairie du Chien, and Alan (Sue) Hagen of Viroqua; as well as by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Patrick; brothers: Earl Hagen and Richard Hagen; and sisters: Beryl "Tootie" Eliason, Esther Wittman, and Clarice Boggs. Funeral Services will be held at the Brush Creek Church on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11am with burial to follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 4-7pm at the Vosseteig Funeral Home (708 S Main St/Hwy 14) in Westby. Friends may also call at the Church on Saturday from 10am till the time of service at 11.
