Michelle Ann Spingler, 63, of Rural De Soto died Thursday, December 20, 2012. Michelle Ann Spingler, age 63, of De Soto WI embraced eternal life at her home on December 20, 2012, 31 months after being diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Michelle is survived by Darus, her husband and best friend of 38 years; her sons James(Dana), and Shawn(Cindy); 6 loving grandchildren Mykayla, Chris, Abi, Jon, Josie and Chayce; her sisters Nancy(John) Leon, Janice(Casey) Eubank, her brother Stephen Wheeler and her many dear nieces and nephews. Michelle was born March 9, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ. She was employed by American International Group, Inc. for more than 25 years as a professional underwriter. She wore many hats during her career and brought great enthusiasm and joy to her co-workers. She was also a graduate and long-time member of the CPCU Society. Michelles many passions included camping, wilderness canoeing, crafts, travel and above all, gardening. Michelles family is grateful for the kindness of her caregivers, tenderness of Dr. David Schwartz, and especially indebted to her friends and neighbors for their faithful support and compassion throughout her illness. In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy and in remembrance of her boundless love of children the family suggests gifts may be made in her memory to The Sunshine Foundation. Family and friends are invited to a visitation and celebration of life gathering at Vosseteig Funeral Home in De Soto on Wednesday, Dec 26th between 4 and 6pm. Services for Michelle will be held at 11am on Thursday, Dec 27t.h., Father Bob Duda will officiate. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of De Soto is serving the family.
