Milford "Mick" Jensen

Milford “Mick” Jensen, age 93, of Janesville and formerly of La Farge, passed away on Sunday, April 6th, 2025. Mick was born on November 7th, 1931, in Westby, WI to the late Ole and Mary (Vitcenda) Jensen.

He farmed in the La Farge area before moving to Janesville and working at General Motors. He married Juanita “Toots” Donovan on December 24th, 1953. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and, in his retirement, did carpentry and remodeling work.

Survivors include his children, Olen (Karen) Jensen, Karla (Chuck) Keller, Terry (Karmen) Jensen, Jill (Steve Allington) Ackerman; his grandchildren, Brandon Jensen, Erik Jensen, Josh Bent, Lindsey Witter, Chuckie Keller, Jeremy Jensen, Jason Jensen, Travis Ackerman, Kelli Sullivan, and Jodi Myers; his great-grandchildren, Audrey Jensen, Dayne Jensen, Grady Jensen, Everett Jensen, Adaline Jensen, Averie Jensen, Shaye Jensen, Tyler Malone, Joseph Jensen, Zoey Witter, Mars Witter, Charlie Bent, Sadie Ackerman, Reilley Ackerman, Ricky Myers, Derek Myers, Mackenzie Sullivan, Peyton Sullivan, and Harper Sullivan; one great-great-granddaughter, Lainey Lynn Myers; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Mick was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juanita “Toots” Jensen; his grandson, Justin Ackerman; his brother, James Jensen; and his sister, Lorraine (Harold) Coleman.

A short service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in La Farge, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Mick will be laid to rest at Bear Creek Cemetery. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
