Neil J. Draeger

Neil J. Draeger, age 33, of rural La Farge, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at his home. He was born May 24, 1988, in Wisconsin to Phil Ulik and Marie Draeger. At the age of 7, Neil was welcomed into the family of Harold and Linda Nofsinger. For most of his schooling, he attended Viroqua Area Schools and graduated at the age of 21. In his words, Neil was a nice, positive young man with lots of curiosity. Neil had a great passion for operating amateur radios, astronomy, photography, stamps and coin collecting, as well as arts and crafts. To know Neil was to love him. He was always positive and tender hearted. Survivors include his father, Harold Nofsinger; his siblings, Connie (Dan Davis) Bekkum, Eric (Tracy) Nofsinger, Lynette Sanders, Nikki (Jason) Larson; other extended family and his best friend, Julie. Neil was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Nofsinger and his grandmother, June Nofsinger. A Funeral Service for Neil will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in La Farge. Pastor George Shick will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Neil will be laid to rest at Bear Creek Cemetery.
