Nicholas Bernard Bahr

Nicholas Bernard Bahr, age 41, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020. He was born Oct. 7, 1979, in La Crosse to Francis and Cheryl (Hilleshiem) Bahr. He graduated from Logan High School with the class of 1997. Following graduation, he attended U.W. La Crosse. He worked numerous jobs in the customer service field. Nicholas was a very spiritual person. He loved tarot cards, astrology, zodiac signs and numbers. Nicholas was a very caring, loving and spiritual person who left his mark with whomever he met. Survivors include his partner/husband, David Kennedy; his parents, Francis Bahr and Cheryl Hilleshiem; his brother, Justin Alexander Bahr; his sister, Emily (Nick) Marie Gibbons; his half-brother, Alex Jordan Bahr; his step-brother, Andrew John Haack; his nieces and nephews: Layla Bahr, Leland Bahr, Wesley Bahr, Oliver Bahr; great aunt and uncle, Betty and Bob Hurley; several aunts and uncles on the Bahr side and numerous cousins. Nicholas was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alfred and Arlene Bahr and his maternal grandparents, Mary “Heiny” and Slim Heintz and Bernard Hilleshiem.
