Palma Suiter March 2, 2005 Palma Suiter was born on January 28, 1907 on Nottingham Ridge to Edward and Ricka (Olson) Peterson. In 1925 she married Arthur Hogan and he died in 1938. She married Clarence Suiter in 1943 and he died in 1978. Palma enjoyed crocheting, having made many cross bookmarks that she would give out to people that she met. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Viroqua and she also made many quilts for church missions and her family. She enjoyed sharing her time with friends and neighbors. Her family was her pride and joy and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She is survived by seven children: Eleanor Seelow of Chaseburg, Delores Hornby of Viroqua, Ardith (Don) Van Riper of Onalaska, LaVerne (Diane) Hogan of Portland, OR, Ruth (Delbert) Leis of Warrens, Betty (Edd) Rinhart of Edgerton, and Rose (Robert) Frederick of West Bend; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; one brother, Earl (Sonja) Peterson of Viroqua; two sisters-in-law, Ardelle Suiter of Viroqua and Velma Parr of Ontario; one brother-in-law, Virgil Knutson of LaFarge; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Pauline; two sons-in-law: Louis Seelow and Orvis Hornby; an infant great-grandson, Lucas; five sisters: Mable, Alma, Rhoda, Agnes and Inga; and one brother, Melvi
