Pamela Susan Peters

January 3, 1987 — June 10, 2022

Pamela Susan Peters, age 35, of La Crosse, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 10th, 2022. She was born on January 3rd, 1987, to Thomas and Ann (Wolfe) Peters in La Crosse, WI. She went to La Farge High School, and also Better Futures High School where her love for music and art really blossomed. From there, she chose to continue her learning through living life her way. It was her love of art and music that became a way of expression for Pamela. She was a very passionate person but could not always find the words to express herself so she would do so through the songs she would play or the beautiful art she would create. Pamela was an outgoing child who loved playing outside, exploring, riding her bike, and jumping on the trampoline with her family and friends. She had a mischievous side where she would play one sister against the other to get what she wanted, sneak off with friends to play by the river, or torment her babysitters when they made her go to bed. She loved watching the Green Bay Packers with her dad, and it was her love of football that helped her recover when she sneaked away with friends and was hit by a car while crossing the highway on her bike. As she was learning to walk again, the hallway in the hospital was her Lambeau Field and she was determined to run Lambeau Field, just like Reggie White. This was the beginning of Pamela’s troubles in life, but through it all, she never lost her love of family and friends. She deeply loved her son, Isaiah, whom she hoped to one day be reunited with after giving him to a guardian because she knew she could not care for him. She was especially close with her grandma, Donna; her grandpa, Paul; her sister, Rebecca; and her father, Thomas. She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends and would help those who needed it even if it meant giving up her last dollar. She loved her nieces, Hazel, and twins, Freya and Nora, and was very close with her cousins, Damian and Kihndyn. In her final years, Pamela found God and regularly read scriptures and found strength and comfort in God’s words. Pamela touched many lives through the years and made an immense impact on anyone blessed to know her. She valued the bonds she had with people and was always loyal to friends and family; she especially loved her nieces. She was a fierce, strong, and passionate woman who always gave her all in everything she did. She was an inspiration to many with the spunk she carried. She was the life of the party everywhere she went and loved to make people laugh. She shone like a beacon in the night for those who had lost their way. Her shining soul will live on in all of us. Pamela is survived by her parents, Thomas and Ann (Wolfe) Peters; her sisters, Donnamae Peters and Rebecca Peters; her son, Isaiah; her nieces, Hazel, Nora, and Freya; her grandpa, Fred Peters; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donna (Speaker) and Paul Wolfe; grandma, Rosemary (Moser) Peters; uncle, Mike Wolfe; aunt, Lori Wolfe; and nephew Israel Peters. A special thank you to all who stood by Pamela through all her trials and never gave up hope that she would one day overcome the struggles she had before her.
