LaVaun "Pat" Hill, age 81 of Richland Center and formerly of Viola, died Monday, July 25, 2011. LaVaun "Pat" Hill, age 81 of Richland Center and formerly of Viola, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Pine Valley Health Care Center. She was born on March 10, 1930 to George and Florence (Hunter) Hocking. On February 27, 1949 she was united in marriage to Doyle Hill and together they farmed Doyles home farm all their married life. Pat is survived by two daughters, Sue (Shaun) McCarthy of Richland Center and Sharon Davis of LaCrosse; two grandchildren: Darren McCarthy (fianc Chelsey Carley) and Jaclyn Kinsey; three sisters: Jean Peterson of Richland Center, Alice Juno of Beloit and Betty (George) Lackner of Cross Plains; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doyle who died on July 13, 2005; sons-in-law: John Calloway and Michael Davis; and two sisters: Marjorie Ramsden and Avis Wellnitz. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Viola United Methodist Church. Pastor Ethan Larson will officiate with burial in the Viola Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 until the time of service. The Vosseteig Funeral Homes Henthorn Memorial Center in Viola is serving the family.
