Patricia A. Salmon

Patricia A. (George) Salmon, age 77, of Soldiers Grove, passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at Soldiers Grove Health Services. She was born July 23, 1943, to the late Laurel and Tolene (Helgerson) George. Patricia married Roger W. Salmon on Nov. 4, 1961. During her life, Patricia had worked as a bartender, worked at Fleming Orchards, and at Sannes Skogdalen. She had many interests, including: gambling with Bea Gratz, going on trips to Las Vegas, painting, spending time with family at home and at the river, and she loved her grandkids and great-grandkids very much. Survivors include her son, Todd (Lisa) Salmon; grandchildren: Jill (Adam) Stenner, Heather (Joe) Stadler, Amber (Ben) Catterall, Estin (Cristina) Salmon, and Jacob Salmon; great-grandchildren: Harper Salmon, Jace Stadler, Maverick Stenner, Jackson Salmon, Colton Stadler, Hudson Catterall, Maya, Claire, Ryan, and Ella Stadler; sisters: Diana Moran and Debra (Rick) Olson; sister-in-law, Monica George; brothers-in-law: Jerry (Cleo) Salmon, Rodney (Deanna) Salmon, Larry (Sandra) Salmon; many nieces and nephews; family and friends; and her special friend, Bea Gratz. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger Salmon; her son, Roger Salmon Jr.; sister-in-law, Sandra (LaVon) Hansen; brothers, Gary and Richard (Karen) George; nephew, David George; niece, Vicki George; and great nephew, Cody George. We would like to thank Vernon Memorial Hospital, Soldiers Grove Health Services, North Crawford Rescue Squad, and St. Croix Hospice. There will be a public visitation on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills. For the safety of everyone, face masks are required. A private service will follow for immediate family and will be Facebook Live on the Vosseteig Funeral Home Facebook page. Patricia will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery. A public celebration of Patricia's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
