Patricia 'Trish/Patti' (Hooverson) Atteberry, age 55 of Omaha, Nebraska died Sunday, September 20, 2009. Patricia (Trish/Patti) Atteberry, age 55 of Omaha, Nebraska passed away September 20, 2009 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin on July 15, 1954 to Thorvald and Rose (Aspen) Hooverson. She attended high school in Viroqua, Wisconsin and college in La Crosse and Madison, Wisconsin. Her business career was spent at Trane Air Conditioning in La Crosse, Wisconsin and Boeing in Wichita, Kansas, but her lifelong love was the Missouri cabin and the Viroqua family farm. She will be most remembered for the lives she touched with her incredible sense of humor and her cooking. She was cherished as a dear wife, mother and friend. She is survived by her husband Mick and son Christopher, and Micks parents, Leland and Shirley Atteberry, from Topeka, Kansas, as well as Micks brothers and their families. She is survived by aunts and cousins. She was surrounded by her loving family members and a community of people touched by her love and graciousness. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Hirschfield; her parents; and her brother, Richard Hooverson. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, located at 123 W. Decker Street (Hwy 56) in Viroqua. Pastor Ethan Larson will officiate. A private interment will follow in the South Kickapoo Cemetery, Rural Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the South Kickapoo Cemetery or the charity of donors choice. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
