Patricia Hughes, 71, of La Farge, died Saturday, October 6, 2018. Patricia Ann Hughes, 71, of La Farge, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her home. She was born on April 26th, 1947 to Theodore and Ethel (Fosdal) Lombard. She went to La Farge High School through her Junior year and later in life received her G.E.D. She married Darold Hughes and they later divorced in 1976. She worked for North Star Mink Ranch in Viola for many years. She then worked for Crooked River Crafts in La Farge for 17 years. Lastly she worked for many years at Organic Valley in La Farge performing light maintenance, working far past retirement age where she was currently employed. Pat was 100% dedicated to each job and took pride in her accomplishments and was in it for the long run. Pat enjoyed bingo and slots and overcame her fear of flying to travel to Nevada the last two years. She also enjoyed playing games on Facebook and conversing on social media. She was thrilled to spend time with her Grandkids and Great Grandchildren. She loved her entire family, especially her two sons. Pat had a big heart and would give someone in need her last cent. Pat is survived by her two sons: Don (Lisa) Hughes of Readstown, and Troy (Michelle) Hughes of Viola; Grandchildren: Tony, Jordan, Bryant, Heather, Curtis, Serenity, Vincent, Brook, Dylan, Allie, Sarah, Justin, Paul, Michael, and Tristan; Great Grandchildren: Cadence, Kaylee, Madalyn, Mason, Gracie, and Mia Lynn; Siblings: Ramona Wettstein of Adams Friendship, Donna (Al) Driscoll of Sparta, Carolyn Sullivan of Soldiers Grove, Dorothy Rickey of La Farge, Rosie (Ron) Driscoll, Mary Christopherson of Viroqua, Jane (Jerry) Holtz of Flagstaff, AZ, and Mark Lombard of La Farge; Special Friend, Steve Thayer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: Raymond, and Lloyd. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the La Farge Free Methodist Church. Pastor Mark Phillips will officiate with burial to follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9am till the time of service at 11.
