Patricia Jean Moore

Patricia Jean Moore, age 95, of Gays Mills passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024. She was born November 5, 1928, to the late Russell and Anna (Potts) Jennings. Pat graduated from Gays Mills High School and went into the work force as a secretary for various companies.

On November 12, 1949, Pat married the love of her life Frank Moore in Soldiers Grove. Pat and Frank lived in Gays Mills where they raised their daughter, Pam. She worked most of her life as a secretary, but the two jobs that really supported her were the Farm Bureau and the Production Credit Association from which she retired. Pat loved playing bingo and cards and traveling.

Pat was a loving aunt to all of her nieces and nephews, and they will all greatly miss her.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Pam (Dennis) Ecker of Barnhart, MO and brothers, Raymond (Mary) Jennings and Neil Jennings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; brothers, Richard Jennings and Roderick Jennings and sisters: Margaret Lester, Betty Gander, and an infant sister.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in Pat’s memory.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pat will be laid to rest at the Gays Mills Cemetery next to her husband.
