Patricia Jones, age 81 of Viroqua, died Friday, April 22, 2016. Patricia JoAnn Jones, 81, of Viroqua, WI passed away suddenly on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI. Pat was born February 12, 1935 to Clarence and Irene (Mossholder) Mellem. Pat was united in marriage to Le Mont Knutson in August 1954 and together they had 6 children. She was married to Le Mont until he passed away on June 4, 1972. Pat later married Harold E. Jones in April 1975 and they remained married until his death in 2015. Pat enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. Pat was a strong woman who held various jobs throughout her lifetime with her favorite being the time she spent as a driver for Coulee Trails. Pat enjoyed playing cards, her mornings at McDonalds with friends and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. Pat is survived by her children: Sheila (George) Thelen, Viroqua, WI, Richard (Sue) Knutson, Lewis Run, PA, Scott (Teresa) Knutson La Farge, WI, Paul Knutson, La Jolla, CA, and Amy Lippe, Viroqua; Six grandchildren, Chad (Tracy) Thelen, Viroqua, WI, Jed Thelen, Westby, WI Danielle Knutson, La Farge, WI, Russell Knutson (Sarah Meyers), Sigel, PA, Cody Knutson, Wilcox, PA, and Brittany Knutson, La Farge, WI; Four great grandchildren: Lexiss Thelen, Emmett, Skyler and Savanna Knutson; her brother, Leon Mellem, La Farge, WI; Karen (Conrad) McGarry, Nekoosa, WI; as well as other relatives and Lorraine Mageland, a treasured friend for 79 years and many other friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Le Mont Knutson; her second husband, Harold E. Jones; an infant son, Kevan; brother, Michael and other family friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Viroqua. Pastor George Shick will officiate with a luncheon to follow.
