Patricia Lambert, 80, of Viroqua died Friday, February 24, 2012 Patricia Lambert, 80, of Viroqua, formerly of White lake, passed away on February 24, 2012 at Vernon Manor in Viroqua. She was born on June 16, 1931 in Langlade to Joseph and Veronica Klimoski. On April 2, 1949 she married Robert Lambert. Besides raising her family she was a great baker, gardener, homemaker, and is remembered for her kitchen counters full of loaves of bread and her Saturday "sweet rolls" and for opening up her home to all the neighborhood children. She is survived by her husband Robert; 8 children: James (Florence) of Edgerton, John (Monica) of La Crescent, MN, Mary Lee (Larry) Heise of White Lake, Teresa (Glenn) Lohse of Blaire, MN, Joseph (Cathy) of Viroqua, Steve of Viroqua, Paul of Appleton, and Bruce (Vicki) of Redwing, MN; 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and her dog McGregor. She is further survived by four brothers: Joseph (Shirly) of Chandler, AZ, Michael (Alice) of White Lake, Victor (Kathy) of St. Paul, MN, and Robert of Madison; sister Mary Ann (Dennis) Callahan of White Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Mark; and a daughter in-law Patti. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday February 28, 2012 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Viroqua. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 123 W. Decker (Hwy 56), in Viroqua. Friends may also call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorial contributions may be made to Vernon Manor. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
