Patricia "Pat" Jaeger

Patricia “Pat” M. Jaeger, age 93, of Westby, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Norseland Nursing Home. Pat was born on October 9, 1931, to Pearly and Lenore (Nelson) Stenslien. She graduated from Westby High School and married Roger Jaeger on April 5, 1952, upon his return from his service in Korea. She was a faithful employee of 38 years for PT Bland, M.D. She enjoyed camping in Hatfield, making lefse, working on puzzles, and was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Westby. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Norseland’s Auxiliary. She also enjoyed following and attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events.

Pat is survived by her two daughters, Lynn (David) Marks and Cheryl (Robert) Bland; four grandchildren, Becky (Mike) Brudos, Tyler (Sarah) Larson, Thomas (Kate) Bland, and Steven (Bailee Schmidt) Bland; four great-grandchildren, Josie and Lizzie Brudos, and Charlie and Millie Larson; her siblings, Paul (Linda) Stenslien, Judy (Bob) Hebl, Mary Tuff, and Marty (Lynne) Stenslien; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger Jaeger in 2019; her son, Jeff Jaeger in 1978; son-in-law, Bruce Larson in 1980; and her brother, David Stenslien.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Norseland Nursing Home or the charity of your choice.

A gathering will be held from Noon until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. A short graveside service will follow at Coon Prairie Cemetery.
