Paula Howard

Paula Howard, 67, of La Farge, died Thursday, June 29, 2017. Paula J. Howard, 67 of LaFarge, died early Thursday, morning, June 29, 2017. She was born on March 22, 1950 in Viroqua, to Virgil "Jim" and Ruth (Coleman) Muller. Paula graduated from LaFarge High School and had earned her Masters in Counseling degree. She served in the U.S. Army for 3 years and had been an education coordinator on U.S. Air Force bases. On June 26, 2007 Paula married Mark Glatfelter and together they enjoyed traveling and would often take their motorcycle on weekend rides. Paula also enjoyed quilting and sewing. In addition to her husband, Mark, Paula is survived by two children: Sara (Kyle) Young and Christopher (Angie) Johnson, of Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren: Elyse Pippitt, Coleman Johnson and Olive Johnson; three siblings: Maureen Hysel, Phil (Jean) Muller and Doug (Dene) Muller; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings: Judy Bogaard, Mary Jo Melvin and Matthew Muller. Blessed be our memory of Paula Jean Howard. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the LaFarge United Methodist Church with Pastor Eileen Kuehnl officiating. Military rites will be accorded following the funeral. Friends may call at the church for a visitation on Monday on hour prior to the service.
