Perry J. Widner, 48, of Westby died Friday July 2, 2010. Perry James Widner, 48, of Avalanche died unexpectedly Friday, July 2, 2010 at Vernon Memorial Hospital.Perry was born in Viroqua on May 23, 1962 to parents Roger and Mary (Clarke) Widner. He attended Westby area schools and was baptized and confirmed at Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church.He is survived by his parents; sister Susan (Terry) Arentz; sister-in-law Laurie Widner; nieces Amanda (Nathan) Langrehr, Meghan Arentz, Kelsey (Nick) Giraud, Molly Arentz, Danielle Widner; nephews Tyler Arentz, Alex Arentz, Dylan Widner; great-niece Grace Giraud; great-nephew Kaden Langrehr; uncles Robert (June) Widner, William Perry Widner Jr.; and many cousins and friends. Perry is preceded in death by paternal grandparents William Perry and Florence Widner; maternal grandparents James B. and Lenore Clarke; and brother Roger Lee Widner.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 5, 2010 at Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church. Pastor Dennis Hallemeier will officiate with burial in Coon Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family. .
