Phyllis Roberts

Phyllis (North) Roberts, age 87, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away in her home on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Phyllis was born in Vernon County, WI on February 25, 1938, the daughter of Lovel and Uva (Waddell) North. Phyllis grew up in La Farge, WI and later moved to Lincoln, NE where she spent the rest of her days. Phyllis enjoyed being around others, playing with her kitty, Nala Lee, and watching the Cornhuskers and Packers play on TV. Phyllis spent many years helping others as a nurse at Bryant Memorial Hospital.

Phyllis is survived by her brother, Earl (Toshiko) North and sister Barbara (Robert) Dempsey along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe “Bob” Roberts; her parents, Lovel and Uva (Waddell) North; her sister, Eva (North) Clements; and her brother-in-law, Robert Dempsey.
