Raymond Hetletvedt

Raymond Hetletvedt, 95, of Westby died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 Raymond Malcolm Hetletvedt, age 95 of Westby, was called to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. He was born on October 28, 1917. He grew up in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. Raymond was a veteran and served briefly at the close of World War II. On May 16, 1938 he was united in marriage to Lucille Deaver, a union that lasted almost 70 years. They lived together in many places, Chippewa Falls for more than 40 years, before moving to the Westby and Viroqua area for several years. Raymond leaves to mourn one brother-in-law, Earl Deaver; two adopted sons: Charles (Lisa) of Greenville, Ohio and Richard of Eau Claire; two grand daughters; two great grand daughters; nephews and nieces; Ken and Kay Deaver, John and Jen Stoltz, Deb Campton, Gary and Carol Deaver, Terry Deaver, Tom and Barry Brierly; and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby, 708 S. Main St. (Hwy 14). Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 9 a.m. till the time of service at 10. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
